As Told by Ginger "And She Was Gone" Final Cut Animatic

Special thanks to As Told by Ginger director Mark Risley for digging through an old VHS tape of some animatics he still had and sharing this with me to share to all the fans. This one is from the Emmy nominated Season 2 episode "And She Was Gone" which was originally titled "And Then She Was Gone", but scrapped the name due to a book that came out around the same time with that title. There are some minor changes of the animatic from the final product such as the drawings and the background music not being done by Jared Faber. With that said, enjoy!

We're in Between Episode 36: And She Was Gone w/Mark Risley

In this episode of We're in Between, Patricia and Casey discuss about the 37th episode of As Told by Ginger "And She Was Gone" alongside special guest Mark Risley, who directed most of the episodes of the show, including this one. The plot focuses on Ginger writing a poem for a competition, but the people who heard it assume that she's going through suicidal depression due to its somber tone. Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey buy disappearing powder to use on a student no one would miss and choose a weird, quirky girl named Noelle Sussman with them regretting their deed. Casey and Patricia also read the comments from their listeners from episodes 33-36.

"And She Was Gone" was the third episode in As Told by Ginger that was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Program in Less than An Hour. Did it deserve that nomination?
